Privacy policy

This policy explains what whatisreputationmanagement.com does with your information. The site is published by Aurawave Inc. of Orlando, Florida. It is a reference you can read without giving us anything at all. The only place it collects personal information is the free reputation audit form, which asks for your name, email address, phone number and a description of your situation, and forwards that submission to the customer relationship system operated by The Reputation.org so a specialist can respond. Below is what is collected, what it is used for, who else sees it, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. Effective 19 August 2026.

Who we are

This website is published by Aurawave Inc., 1317 Edgewater Dr #4807, Orlando, FL 32804, United States. Aurawave Inc. also operates The Reputation.org, the firm that performs the free reputation audit offered here.

For any question about this policy, or about information you have already sent us, contact [email protected] or +1 (888) 402-0640.

What this policy covers

It covers this website and the audit request form on it. Once your submission has been delivered to The Reputation.org, that firm handles it in order to prepare and deliver your audit and to respond to you. [TO CONFIRM: whether The Reputation.org publishes its own separate privacy policy, and if so the URL to link here.]

It does not cover websites we link to. Every external link on this site goes to a third party with its own policies.

Information you give us

The audit form collects:

Field Required Why
Name Yes To address you and to search for what is published about you
Email address Yes To send you the audit and reply to you
Phone number No To call or text you about your request, if you consent
Your message Yes To understand the situation you are asking about
Consent checkbox Yes To record that you agreed to be contacted

Please send only what is needed. The message box routinely receives sensitive detail, because that is the nature of the subject, and we would rather you sent a link to something public than a copy of a document you would not want stored.

Information collected automatically

Standard web request data is generated whenever anyone visits any website, and this one is no exception: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. Our hosting and security provider processes this to serve the site and to block abuse.

The audit form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script and which may set a short-lived token for that purpose.

[TO CONFIRM: whether any analytics, advertising, or session-recording tool is deployed on this site. At the time of writing none is declared in the site source. If one is added, it must be named here with its provider and purpose before it goes live.]

How we use it

We use what you send to read your situation, prepare your free audit, reply to you, and follow up about that request. If you agreed to the consent checkbox, we may contact you by phone, SMS, or email as described in the SMS terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, and the content of your message is never sent to any analytics or advertising service.

Who we share it with

Three categories, and no others:

  1. The Reputation.org, operated by the same company, which performs the audit and responds to you.
  2. Service providers who make the site and the response process work, including our hosting and security provider and the customer relationship platform where submissions are received. They act on our instructions. [TO CONFIRM: whether the CRM and hosting sub-processors should be named individually here.]
  3. Where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request, or where it is necessary to protect against fraud or abuse.

How long we keep it

Server and security logs are kept for the period our hosting and security provider applies to them by default. Audit submissions and any correspondence are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the request. [TO CONFIRM: the retention period applied to audit submissions in the CRM, in months or years, so it can be stated here as a number.]

You can ask us to delete your submission at any time using the contact address above.

Your choices

  • Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your submission and correspondence.
  • Withdraw consent to phone, SMS, or email contact, at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, or email us.
  • Object to further contact even where you gave consent earlier.

Email [email protected] and say what you want done. We may need to confirm you are the person the information relates to before we act. Some state privacy laws give residents additional rights, and where one applies to you we will honour it.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use ordinary technical measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and a bot check on the form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be described on the page.

Effective 19 August 2026.

Questions about privacy policy

How is my information used?

To read your situation, prepare your free reputation audit, and reply to you. If you ticked the consent box we may also contact you by phone, SMS, or email about that request.

Who do you share data with?

The Reputation.org, which performs the audit and is operated by the same company; the service providers that host the site and receive form submissions; and anyone the law requires. We do not sell personal information.

Can I ask you to delete what I sent?

Yes. Email [email protected] and ask. We may need to confirm you are the person the information relates to before acting on it.

Do you need my phone number?

No. The phone field is optional and the audit can be delivered by email alone. It is there so a specialist can reach you faster if you would rather talk.
